My Three Sons star, Tina Cole, showed off her granddaughter in a recent Facebook post, and fans were quick to notice the interesting similarities between both ladies. “I think she has your eyes,” a fan commented, while another agreed Tina’s grandchild was growing into a “stunning woman.”
After the classic sitcom ended, Tina moved to Sacramento to focus on her family. She says her decision allowed her to become a grandmother despite being initially uncertain about marriage. Tina had just divorced her first husband and was hesitant to wed again; however, she got over her fear and married Fillmore Pajeau Crank Jr. in 1979.
Tina’s life beyond the screen
Tina stalled on marrying again because she “was still attached to the idea that marriage is supposed to be forever. “There were moments when my ex-husband and I still got together because of our son,” she said. She went on to have three more children— a son and two daughters, who she often posts on her social media with their own kids.

Tina now lives a private life as a happy “nana” but is open to acting again. “I look at Hallmark and Lifetime. I think, ‘They need a grandma. They need a shop owner, a mayor, or whatever.’ I could do that. I’d like to get back to that,” she said. She also does not mind falling in love again, however she has yet to meet “a man I’d trade a good book for.”
Tina had eyes for her co-star
Tina and Don Grady shared real affection beyond their roles as a TV couple, but according to Tina, their romance was never meant to be. After Tina’s divorce, Grady asked her to marry him, but she turned him down because she wasn’t ready. “We were just crazy about each other,” she said.
Grady moved on and married Julie Boonisar in 1976, but the spark still existed between both co-stars as they reunited for a My Three Sons and The Partridge Family special. “He looked at me after the shoot and said, ‘I made a mistake,'” Tina recalled. “I will call you when I’m free.’ And he did. I was thrilled. And then I asked him to marry me. And he wasn’t ready. It was really far crossed, you know?”
