Michelle Pfeiffer took to Instagram to share a photo of herself showing a black eye she got from playing pickleball. “WARNING. Pickleball-Stay out of the Kitchen!! Thank you, Less!” the caption reads. “Although she was being a good sport about it, fans wished her quick recovery in the comments.
Michelle was still in her workout gear and a visor in the pictures, holding an ice pack over the bruise and giving her followers a closer look at her right eye. She explained further that it was “nothing serious,” adding that “Life is sweetened with risk!”
Michelle received support from her followers, including her sister Dedee, who claims, “She kept on playing” despite the minor injury. “Tell whoever did this that ‘eye for an eye’ is just a phrase!” someone joked. “Oh dear!! ‘Eye’ am wishing you a speedy recovery,” another witty user quipped.
The 65-year-old played along in the comments, poking fun at her makeup artist as well. “You’ve got your work cut out for you, Bridgette!” she warned.
