Candace Cameron Bure recently revealed that her eldest son, Lev, will be getting married “just after Christmas.” The Full House star told Us Weekly that she and her husband, Valeri Bure, were excited to have their adult children and Lev’s fiancée home for the holidays. “We are gaining a daughter very soon,” she gushed.
Bure and Valeri have been married for almost three decades with two other kids aside from Lev—Maksim and Natasha. The mom of three shared marriage tips for Lev from experience, having previously told the secret to her long-lasting union, which has had its share of “hills and valleys along the way.”
The actress explained that she is being cautious about her relationship with the soon-to-be couple while trying her best to make a meaningful contribution towards their wedding preparation. “I’m definitely finding my place in the wedding and just being supportive, and I love that,” she said, also indicating the need to embrace her role despite wanting to “do everything.”
Bure also shared that she is ready to support her son and his lover beyond the wedding while sharing words of wisdom for their budding family. “The best advice for them is that they know that we’re here for them for any questions, any needs that they want. We’re always here and ready to be available and answer,” she added.
The TV personality had nothing but praise and open arms for her son’s partner, whose name she did not reveal. “She is definitely, definitely invited into the family, but we’ll see how the holidays work out in that way. Now it’s, like, two families. We’ll probably be vying for the kids every year,” she joked.
In 2021, Bure credited her children for keeping her now fuller house together following the pandemic, which threatened her blissful marriage. “My children were the biggest influence in helping my husband and me work through it. And since then, the relationship has grown even closer and tighter,” she said with gratitude.
