Ozzy Osbourne Wheelchair Tour

Jack Osbourne made a shocking confession during an interview with The Messenger. The 38-eight-year-old revealed that his rockstar dad, Ozzy Osbourne, might never tour again due to his failing health despite his desire to get back out there. “I don’t think he’ll tour again. But he’s gunning to do one-off shows— like festivals, gigs, things like that,” he said.

Days after Jack shared the new development concerning Ozzy’s health, the singer was seen leaving a building in Santa Monica, California, looking frail in a wheelchair.

The Black Sabbath singer was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003 after suffering injuries from a quad biking accident, although he did not go public about his condition until 2020. “It’s not a death sentence,” he said on a radio show at the time. “It’s a mild form of Parkinson’s at the moment. I’m not shaking.”

One of the symptoms of Parkinson’s include a decline in physical movement and abilities, which forced the “Crazy Train” singer to painfully cancel this year’s show and retire from touring. “This is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share with my loyal fans,” he wrote in his announcement earlier this year.

Ozzy expressed his desire to tour again

After his quad bike accident in the early 2000s, Ozzy had a major home accident in 2019 that aggravated his previous spinal injury. “As you may all know, four years ago this month, I had a major accident where I damaged my spine,” he shared early this year. “My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage.”

He added that his “singing voice is fine,” but despite the treatments, which included “three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions,” and “groundbreaking Cybernetics (HAL) Treatment, his body still feels “physically weak” hence his reason for leaving the spotlight. He later expressed his desire to get back on the road if he could, which Jack has now confirmed to be nearly impossible.
