Footloose star Kevin Bacon has joined the leagues of celebrities like Jennifer Garner, Martha Stewart, Kelis, Pam Grier, and Amanda Seyfried, transitioning away from the chaotic scenes of Hollywood to embracing a quieter life on his farm.
The 65-year-old, who shares his 40-acre Connecticut farm with his wife of 35 years, actress Kyra Sedgwick, told People magazine that he likes to get fresh produce from the garden. “I love animals, they are a joy to be around, and they’re very, very calming for me,” Bacon told the publication. “But we also really love to go into the garden and get fresh herbs or tomatoes or basil or peppers or zucchini.”
