It was fun to see Anthony Hopkins in his element on Sunday. The Legends Of The Fall actor shared a video of him dancing the rumba while whipping up a nice meal in his kitchen, and his followers were delighted to see him have fun.
He moved side to side, his fingers snapping to the music while standing between the island and the oven. He enjoyed the song “Mambo Italiano” so much that he closed his eyes at some point to feel every beat and tune.

From the look of the ingredients on the island top, it appeared Hopkins was making an Italian dish. He danced and sang along to the classic tune, humming, “Try an enchilada with a fish baccala, hey goomba, I love how you dance rumba,” as he moved around the kitchen in a black top and sweatpants.

When he was done cooking, the four-time BAFTA winner smiled and looked into the camera before triumphantly walking out of the room. His followers wasted no time showing their excitement as they soon flooded his TikTok comments section. “Nothing like dancing while you cook,” someone remarked. “Got some moves going on, Sir Anthony Hopkins!” another added.
Dancing ‘Dr. Lecter’
Some fans were shocked to see a playful side of the actor, who was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to drama in 1993. A user referenced one of his famous roles, which he reprised in two more movies. “Omg! Never thought Dr. Lecter would ever act like this!” they wrote. Hopkins first played Dr. Hannibal Lecter in 1991’s horror thriller The Silence of the Lambs.
He again played the deadly killer in 2001’s Hannibal and then Red Dragon the following year, which he admitted to regretting in a 2016 interview. “I did it once. Made the mistake of doing it twice— three times,” he said, referring to the needless but successful sequels which he thought were created to milk cash off the character.
