Matthew Perry’s Death Certificate Finally Released—Photo Of Document Sparks Debate

Matthew Perry died late last month, and the circumstances surrounding his unexpected passing raised questions as the actor’s body was recovered in his bathtub at his Pacific Palisades residence. Following a preliminary investigation, Chief of Coroner Craig Harvey revealed that, apart from medication bottles, no illicit drugs were found at the scene while the Los Angeles police department shared their plans to carry out an autopsy and toxicology test so as to establish the exact cause of death.

Subsequently, the law enforcement agency released a death certificate for Perry; however, the findings have fueled debates among his fans. Some believe that the certificate’s contents may have been manipulated to align with a specific narrative, adding an element of controversy to the already mysterious situation.

His cause of death has not been determined

The death certificate, which has been circulating online, revealed that the actor died at 4:17 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, when he was found unconscious in his hot tub. The document also disclosed that Perry was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on November 3 in a private ceremony that his family and former Friends co-stars attended.

However, the certificate confirmed that even though an autopsy has been conducted, the cause of death has not been determined yet because the toxicology test has not been concluded.

Fans react to the content of Matthew Perry’s death certificate

Perry’s death certificate has sparked discussions among fans of the late actor. Some argued that the details in the document introduced an element of controversy to an already enigmatic situation. “Sounds like a cover-up,” a fan wrote. “He was killed real think about 3 People died in a tub Matt, Christine Bobby, and Whitney, so tell me that don’t sound odd,” a second fan speculated.

Conversely, others believed the document could have been altered to conform to a particular narrative, particularly in light of the actor’s history of substance abuse. “They’re trying to cover up that he died of a drug overdose,” someone else commented. “He was a full-blown drug addict. 50 to 60 relapses is a heavy drug addict.”

“It’s probably internal complications due to alcohol abuse he has been doing for many years,” a fourth person stated. “He overdosed!!!! Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out,” a user concluded.
