Bridget Fonda was recently spotted out in Los Angeles with a friend wearing a gray Mickey Mouse shirt, and black loose pants. The actress appeared makeup-free and completed the laid-back look with sneakers, a big purse, and a pair of glasses.
Fans were however curious about her hands— she wore gloves on both and held two stacked cups in one. “Why is she wearing gloves?” an Instagram user asked after Page Six posted Fonda’s photo. While others praised the 59-year-old for keeping it natural and flawless as she ages.

However, some users tried to answer for themselves, assuming the likely reasons for Fonda’s covered hands. “Yeah, people change and look different as they age. But those gloves scream crazy!” a user exclaimed. claimed.

She prefers the ‘civilian’ life
Fonda retired from acting in the early 2000s and when asked during her recent appearance, if she plans to get back on screens, Fonda answered in the negative. “I don’t think so, it’s too nice being a civilian,” she said. The former actress has been away from the public eye since her retirement over two decades ago. Her last appearance was in 2002’s fantasy film, Snow Queen, where she plays the title character.
The actress left Hollywood to focus on her family after marrying her composer and musician husband, Danny Elfman, in 2003. They soon welcomed their only child, Oliver, who was seen with Fonda at the Los Angeles International Airport months ago.
