Jane Fonda Shows Off Her Gray Curls Next To Donna Mills At Fundraiser

Jane Fonda and her good pal, Donna Mills, collaborated to raise funds for Fonda’s environmental advocacies at an event in Houston, Texas. The duo were dressed for the occasion, both opting for the power-duo look in blazers— and more noticeably, with Fonda rocking her gray curls with pride.

Fonda wore a red animal-print blazer and black pants, while Donna went for a cream top, blazer, and pants ensemble. They posed for a photo that soon went up on social media for fans to admire. “Whoa! Two of my absolute favorites next to each other. A lot to take in,” someone wrote.

Donna credits Fonda for helping her step up again when it comes to advocating for the environment. The actress appreciated her friend, calling her “a powerhouse, a tireless worker, and an incredibly smart and lovely woman.” In February, Fonda led a campaign to save marine life that are widely hunted for food, including sharks, swordfish, octopus, and tuna.

She was inspired by her experience growing up in Santa Monica, California, where she enjoyed the water and played on the beach. The actress has scuba-dived in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the Galapagos in Ecuador, the Caribbean, and other oceans worldwide. “I’ve swum with some of the most magnificent creatures, and I know that they may very well be more intelligent than me,” she said.

Fonda’s tip for glowing at 85

Fonda takes regular exercise and a nutritious diet seriously, saying both have done more for her skin than skincare products. She confessed to taking her time to get ready daily, and starting her days with long walks. “I would get up at six in the morning before the heat hit and walk for an hour, hour and a half, two hours on days when the work permitted me to do that,” she said.

She also prioritizes rest and, as someone advocating for marine life, has cut back on some meal choices as well. “I’ve cut back on fish because fish supplies are dwindling. I eat vegetables. I eat salads. I eat fresh food. I’m just careful about what I eat,” she noted. Although she had a facelift, Fonda admitted to stopping to avoid “looking distorted.” She now takes the holistic approach b healthy meals, physical activity, and staying out of the sun.
