Vera Wang’s youthful appearance is a wonder at 74, with healthy glowing skin, toned abs, and a luxury lifestyle that leaves people wondering how she pulls it all off. The fashion mogul was kind enough to share one of her bizarre secrets in a recent chat with Page Six.
Vera revealed she consistently eats fast food— specifically McDonald’s, which she orders every day. “I do eat McDonald’s, absolutely. I order it every day, like two weeks on it, and then I’ll change,” she said. She sometimes opts for Dunkin’ Donuts when she craves something a little sweeter.
Vera’s simple diet
True to her preference, Vera once posted a picture of her eating McDonald’s in a car months ago. “Love Lovin’ It!” she captioned the Instagram photo. “I like the cream-filled, sugar-coated donut. It’s like a jelly donut, but it’s cream inside, vanilla cream. I like the pink with sprinkles, too,” she continued, going in on her favorites.

She also posted a photo in celebration of June’s National Donut Day while eating donuts, just like the ones she described. “Sunday morning… In honor of Friday’s Donut Day!” she wrote. In the comments, a cheeky fan hinted that Vera shares the secrets of her figure despite the snacks. “Donutsssssss. I love the one in the bottom right-hand corner but my body says I can’t have it. Show me your ways Vera, I wanna learn,” the user said.
Snacking aside, Vera works hard
More than a nice sugary treat, Vera maintains her looks with hard work and staying active. “Basically, I’ve worked my whole life, so it’s really been about work. I think work keeps you young and stimulated,” she stated. “I work very long hours, I’ve raised two daughters. I think keeping busy is the best antidote for good health.”
She also credits sunblock, and good lighting for a gorgeous glow, as well as vodka cocktails in the evening. “I have a vodka at some point after five or six o’clock, maybe towards seven,” Vera said. While addressing society’s negative outlook on aging, she bragged about her friends who look just as fabulous in their 60s and 70s. “I guess it’s just that people have an idea of what 70 looks like today.
