Adrienne Barbeau is a pacesetter for female characters in the horror genre, leading in both classics and modern newcomers like The Fog, Escape From New York, Creepshow, and much more. The 1977 Golden Globe nominee is still upholding her status as a scream icon, playing an old lady in a new short film, Oddities.
The movie features How To Blow Up A Pipeline’s Ariela Barer, and Logan Miller from Scouts Guide co-starring with Zombie Apocalypse star, Barbeau. Writer and director Tyler Savage describes the movie as “a twisted story that exists at the intersection of noir and horror, but there’s a joyfulness in it.”
What to expect from ‘Oddities’
The synopsis reads, “When a drugged-out duo attempts to rob an antique store, they realize the older woman running the shop isn’t as defenseless as she seems.” The exclusive clip from the much-anticipated movie shows the duo, Ariela and Logan, trying to rob an antique store, run by Barbeau’s character, Susan.
