Following her stroke battle, Susan Boyle recently returned to the stage of Britain’s Got Talent—the very show that propelled her to stardom. The 62-year-old Scottish vocalist united with the Les Misérables West End cast to perform the song “I Dreamed a Dream.”

At the 2023 season finale of the talent show, Boyle surprised the audience and her fans, who hadn’t seen her sing since her health issues began. After the powerful rendition of the song, the judging panel, which included the show creator, Simon Cowell, who was present at her original audition 14 years ago, gave her a standing ovation for the brilliant performance.
