Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz were pioneers of television shows, playing the couple both on-screen and in reality through their marriage. The two crossed paths in 1940 at the RKO studio while working on the movie Too Many Girls.

The duo established a lucrative business venture through their TV production, Desilu Productions, which granted them authority over their television show, I Love Lucy. The show unexpectedly became a huge hit, resonating with fans of all ages due to Ball’s comedic talent and Arnaz’s well-timed responses. The last episode of I Love Lucy aired in 1957, coinciding with the period when they were experiencing marital troubles, which later ended in divorce in 1960.
