Riley Keough Officially Named Sole Heir Of Late Mom Lisa Marie Presley’s Estate After Legal Battle With Priscilla

After resolving her legal dispute over Graceland estate with her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, Riley Keough has been appointed as the exclusive trustee and heir of her late mom, Lisa Marie Presley’s estate.

Priscilla had previously contested her daughter’s will, disputing the validity of a 2016 amendment that replaced her as the trustee in favor of Riley and Benjamin. Priscilla, who shared Lisa Marie with Elvis, alleged that the amendment was forged, as the new documents lacked proper witnessing and notarization.

After months of legal battle, it was confirmed in May by Us Weekly that the case had been settled, and based on the terms of the settlement, Riley was named the sole trustee of Lisa Marie’s estate, while her siblings, Harper and Finely were appointed as sub-trustees. Also, her grandmother will receive a one-time lump sum of $1 million from the estate’s account.

To back up the initial agreement with her grandmother, Riley took legal means to ratify her position as the sole heir and trustee of her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley’s Estate. She submitted a 73-page petition to support her request for the appointment as the head of the family’s Promenade Trust on June 12.

The petition, which has been approved, also gives her the duty to oversee the sub-trusts for her half-sisters, Harper and Finley Lockwood. However, their grandmother, Priscilla, will serve as a special adviser to the trust and receive a monthly payment for her involvement.

The appointment, which was officially approved during a hearing by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Lynn Healey Scaduto, has also granted her ownership of the renowned Memphis mansion, Graceland, which was once the property of her grandfather, the legendary singer Elvis Presley which her late mother inherited after his death in 1977.
