Keith Richards, a longtime friend and Rolling Stones bandmate, uploaded a video on Twitter showcasing him playing the piano in tribute to their enduring friendship and musical journey together. “Hey Mick, long may we keep saying this to each other,” he said. “Happy birthday Mick, have another good one. Give me a call and let me know what it’s like.”

The band’s guitarist Ronnie Wood also delighted fans by posting a captivating series of throwback photos on social media, which included vintage photoshoots, an artistic painting of Jagger, and a candid photograph. “Happy 80th birthday @MickJagger,” he wrote in the tweet alongside colorful birthday emojis.

“Happy birthday @mickjagger! 80 years of adventures, music, love, kids, grandkids, great grandkids …honoring life at every moment and inspiring generations,” Diane von Furstenberg, renowned Belgian fashion designer and a longtime friend of the musician captioned her Instagram post. “Enjoy the day, the year, the life! (first photo was taken in London in 1980 I think… red party… the second one last year! Age does not look as good as it feels!) Love you old friend! ❤️❤️”

With over six decades of remarkable contributions to the music industry, Jagger has undeniably shown that he has no intentions of slowing down. In an April 2022 interview, the 80-year-old revealed that his passion for music remains as strong as ever and that he plans to continue rocking the stage and captivating audiences for the foreseeable future.

“I enjoy going out there on stage and doing my stuff,” Jagger confessed. “That is what I do. I want everyone to enjoy themselves and forget the troubles in their lives for a couple of hours and just chill out and have a great afternoon and evening.”
