Anson Williams is best known for his role as Warren “Potsie” Weber on the popular TV show Happy Days, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor in Series, Miniseries, or Television Film category. After his time on the series, Williams continued to appear in various television shows and films, although none achieved the same level of fame as his role in the iconic sitcom. He also worked behind the camera as a television director, directing episodes for various TV series.

Recently, the actor found love again after being married twice. He tied the knot with his first wife, Lorrie Mahaffey before they went their separate ways in 1986. He also married Jackie Gerken in 1988, and their union lasted about three decades.

Willams and MaHarry met while refacing the dual challenges of grieving the passing of her husband of 35 years and recuperating from an injury. In an interview with PEOPLE, MaHarry revealed that meeting the 73-year-old was the best thing that happened to her. “I just thought this was it. I’m a widow, this is who I am now,” she admitted to the news outlet. “He completely turned that around, it was like a gift from God that I met him.”

The actor expressed his feelings of sheer delight at discovering love again, as he had initially had doubts about it. “At this age, to be able to find that kind of full connection for the first time, and what that means — it’s a miracle, I would trade my stardom, notoriety, all that bologna for Sharon in a minute,” Williams confessed. “There’s no age limit on being loved. There’s no age limit on living life fully.”
