TikTok users have been on a roll with the viral aging filter that gives them a glimpse into many years from now. Many celebrities have been using the filter to their amusement, and Friends star Courteney Cox was not an exception as she decided to try the filter and was surprised at the results.
The 59-year-old actress looked into the camera, and as soon as the filter altered her look, she exclaimed, “Woah! How many more years is this?” Her face was now aged, complete with eye bags and wrinkles. The actress posted the video to her TikTok and Instagram pages with the caption, “Stay in the moment!”

While Cox was not so impressed with the results of the arguably accurate filter, her fans had kind words for her in the comments. “You will always be beautiful no matter what,” one user wrote. “Gorgeous as always, Courteney,” another added with a red heart emoji.

Aside from Cox, other celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian and her 10-year-old daughter North, and Hailey Bieber tried the filter last week, sharing their reactions with fans online. Kylie, the 25-year-old founder of Kylie Cosmetics, was— like Cox, stunned by the results. “I don’t like it. I don’t like it at all,” the reality TV star said.
Cox shares her experience with facial fillers and getting older
Cox discussed aging and beauty procedures on a March episode of the Gloss Angeles podcast. The actress shared that she had some work done on her face as a young lady and has come to regret it a lot now that she is older. “Thinking I was getting older when I was really young, that’s just a bummer, a waste of time; it’s a domino effect, it’s like you don’t realize that you look a little off, so then you keep doing more cause you look normal to yourself,” Cox admitted.
“You look in the mirror and go, ‘Oh, that looks good,’ you think, and you don’t realize what it looks like to the outside person and just doing too many fillers and having to have them removed,” she added. Cox added that old photos of herself while she had facial fillers now make her cringe; “I look at pictures of me from when I thought I looked okay, and I can’t believe it,” she exclaimed.
