Sources Say Heather Locklear Is ‘Sober, Lucid’ After Displaying Erratic Behavior In Photos

Recently a close friend of Heather Locklear’s has put the rumors about the actress to rest and reassured fans that she is in a positive state and maintains complete clarity, despite concerning photographs. Speculation arose recently about the Dynasty actress’ well-being when she appeared distressed outside a medical center in Malibu, California.

An article published in the Daily Mail reported that the 61-year-old has resumed drinking after maintaining a period of sobriety for several years. A self-proclaimed friend also corroborated the allegations saying, “Tequila has always been her drink. She can’t stay away from it. She’s also on Ozempic and obsesses over her weight. She’s lost 40lbs.”

Sharan Magnuson, who has shared a close friendship with the actress since their meeting in an acting class in 1981, disclosed that Locklear is currently in excellent health. “I just FaceTimed with Heather today,” she admitted, “and she’s doing great.”

“We text all the time and we had lunch together only a few weeks ago, we had the best time, we laughed and reminisced. Everyone is allowed a bad day.”

Another source claims Heather Locklear has not returned to drinking.

An insider revealed that the 61-year-old had earlier received disturbing news but was not experiencing any personal troubles at the time. The source also refuted the report, which painted Locklear in a bad light after years of rehab.

“Heather is most definitely not drinking, she hasn’t for years,” the insider confirmed. “She’s very upset at that allegation, it’s super hurtful.”
