Recently, Heather Locklear, who is known for her alcohol and drug addiction history, was spotted looking troubled as she departed from a one-hour appointment at an office building in Malibu, California. In the photographs, the 61-year-old was seen cautiously moving along the ledge of the building while rocking flip-flops and a camo-printed outfit as she seems to rely on the pillars for stability and support while carefully maneuvering through the office to prevent herself from falling.
Also, the actress’s public composure got the people worried as she displayed a rather erratic behavior— Locklear sat on the steps for nearly an hour, talking to herself while also getting visibly angry with the contents of a book she had with her.

Just a day after photographs of the actress surfaced, news making the rounds suggest that Locklear, who had previously undergone 20 rounds of rehabilitation in the past, has lost her sobriety battle and is back on the wagon.

“Heather is drinking, the family is very worried. Everyone feels helpless,” a source told The Daily Mail. “[Ex-husband] Richie Sambora, her family, especially her daughter Ava who loves her so much. Tequila has always been her drink. She can’t stay away from it. She’s also on Ozempic and obsesses over her weight. She’s lost 40lbs.”
She is back to drinking because she got off her brush with the law easily
Locklear’s downfall began in 2006 following her split from ex-husband Richie Sambora. In February and June 2018, the actress was arrested for brutally attacking a police officer and an EMT who responded to a distress call at her residence respectively. In November, she was placed on a 5150 hold as determined by her therapist. Also, in August 2019, Locklear pleaded no contest to eight misdemeanor counts, including five counts of battery on a peace officer, one count of battery on emergency medical personnel, and two counts of resisting, obstructing, or delaying a peace officer. She was subsequently mandated by the court to undergo a 30-day residential rehabilitation program in a mental health facility while her 120-day jail sentence was suspended.
However, an insider revealed that the 61-year-old was not properly punished, and this has contributed to her regression. “Heather got off so easy with no probation or accountability after beating up cops and then threatening EMT ambulance drivers,” the insider confessed. “The no accountability has allowed her to continue to hide out on top of her mountain estate and drink her tequila body into a much larger unhappier figure.”
