A close source revealed to Radar Online that the actress is in really bad shape and is being taken care of and monitored closely while being confined to her house. “Liza often fidgets, her hands shake, and she looks horrible,” the insider admitted to the outlet. “She sometimes doesn’t know who she’s talking to and has a hard time focusing. Liza rarely leaves the house anymore. She didn’t want people to remember her that way.”

Michael Feinstein, Minelli’s friend, shared on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show that the actress’s last Oscar appearance was devastating for her; thus, she intentionally chose to stay away from public view because she does not want to be remembered in that manner. “She only agreed to appear at the Oscars if she would be in a director’s chair,” he confessed, “because she’s been having back trouble.”
She is currently in a financial mess
During her five-year marriage to her fourth husband, David Gest, Minnelli reportedly lost a significant portion of her $50 million fortune, resulting in financial setbacks as the pair ended the union in 2007.
As of now, the singer currently leads a quiet and modest life, far removed from the glamour and extravagance of her earlier years.
