Bruce Willis recently experienced his first Father’s Day as a grandfather, and his daughter Rumer Willis was excited to share the moment the actor had with his granddaughter, Louetta. Rumer took to Instagram to express her deep appreciation for the memory while emphasizing its significance and everlasting value.
“Seeing my father hold my daughter today was something I will treasure for the rest of my life. His sweetness and love for her was so pure and beautiful,” she wrote in the caption. “Papa I’m so lucky to have you and so is Lou. Thank you for being the silliest, most loving, coolest Daddio a girl could ask for. Best Girl Dad in the game.”
The actress also celebrated her partner, Derek Richard, with whom she shares her newly-born on the occasion, which was also his first. “@derekrichardthomas Happy 1st Father’s Day. Thank you for building a beautiful garden for Lou to play in and eat from,” the 34-year-old wrote. “Thank you for filling the house with music for her to hear. Thank you for all the late night diaper changes and silly faces.”
Rumer further expressed her appreciation to Richard for the love and care he has showered her and Lou their daughter. “I’m so grateful our girl has a papa that loves her so much and someone so goofy and weird so she knows that’s ok for her to be too,” Rumer continued. “Thank you for the greatest girl I could imagine in my wildest dreams. We love you.”
Fans of the 68-year-old took to the comment section to express their admiration and appreciation for the heartfelt sentiment shared by Rumer. “Look at her looking up at your father❤️❤,️” a fan wrote.
