Paris Jackson Shares Father’s Day Post In Honor Of Her Late Dad, Micheal Jackson

In the spirit of celebration of Father’s Day, Paris Jackson, the only daughter of the late pop icon Michael Jackson paid tribute to his dad. The 25-year-old took to Instagram story to share a  throwback picture of herself alongside her late father and her siblings.

The image captured the “Thriller” singer dressed in an all-black ensemble, sporting a button-down shirt and leather pants with his dark hair flowing down and parted while rocking a pair of sunglasses. Jackson lovingly held Bigi, while Paris and Prince seemed to be engaged in baking activities in the foreground of the photo. “Happy Father’s Day,” Paris wrote in the caption.

Paris, who is a folk musician, openly expressed the enduring impact her late father’s work has had on her, even though their genres are totally different. In a 2021 interview with the Evening Standard, she shared that her father’s artistic legacy constantly continues to influence her creative journey. “I think he’ll always influence everything I do in some way, whether it’s subconscious or intentional,” Paris admitted. “I was around that creativity all the time, so I’m sure I learnt a lot of what I have from that.”

Paris also discussed details of her childhood while growing up on the Neverland Ranch in California. She revealed that her late father instilled a great deal of discipline into her and her siblings. “We were lucky enough to be raised with solid morals. He would be like, ‘Oh, you want to go to Toys ‘R’ Us and get five toys? Great,” Paris explained. “You need to read five books — and I will test you on those books.’”

Since the death of the legendary King of Pop, his children have lived a very quiet life away from the spotlight, leaving little or no room for discussions about their late dad. However, his son Prince is particularly outspoken about his father’s enduring impact and is committed to keeping his legacy. The 26-year-old runs an annual charity event, Thriller Night, with the funds raised donated to the Heal Los Angeles Foundation aimed at combating homelessness, child abuse, and hunger in the city of Los Angeles.

Prince also took to Instagram last year to share a heartfelt tribute in honor of what would have been his dad’s 64th birthday. “Happy birthday to the greatest! Miss you more and more but I love you more and more with each day,” he wrote in the caption. “Thank you for everything.”
