Jennifer Aniston Gifts Courteney Cox A ‘Smooch’ As She Turns 59

Jennifer Aniston celebrated her Friends co-star’s birthday by sharing a sensational Instagram post and a friendly smooch. The actress praised Courteney Cox for having “the biggest heart,” and being a generous person.

“I’d like to take a moment and wish my dearest CC the happiest of birthdays. If you’ve been lucky enough to know her, you know how incredible she is,” Aniston captioned the Instagram post.

Aniston shared throwback photos to celebrate Cox

Aniston posted a carousel that featured past shots of herself and Cox, including a throwback photo of the duo sharing a kiss and happily working on the set of Friends. “The biggest heart and most generous of humans. I love you, Cox-N-Hammer! Happy Birthday,” Aniston concluded the caption.

In February, Aniston paid tribute to Cox during her speech with Lisa Kudrow as she earned her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney. She is responsible for all of that,” Aniston said. “From the beginning of when we met her, she was immediately inclusive, warm, loving, interested in everything about you.”

Off the screen, Cox also loves her co-star, Aniston, as she gave her a shout-out during her own Hollywood Walk of Fame speech. “I love you all so much, and it’s so nice that you came out and showed up for me in public the way you do so often in private,” Cox also said as she thanked Aniston and Lisa Kudrow, who co-starred as Phoebe on Friends.

Friends ran on NBC for ten seasons from 1994 to 2004, and the main actors, Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, who played Joey Tribbiani, Matthew Perry, who played Chandler and David Schwimmer, reunited in 2021 for the HBO special Friends: The Reunion.
