Actress and talk show host Ricki Lake recently shared a photo of herself stripped down in a bathtub. The 54-year-old concealed her chest area by wrapping her arms wrapped around the region as she looked towards the sky smiling.
“Hands down, these days are the best of my life. Grateful for all that had to happen for me to get to here,” Ricki wrote in her caption. “A place of complete self-acceptance and self love.”

In the post, Ricki noted that she was “54½ years old (young!)” and then appreciated her husband, Ross Burningham, for making “every adventure the most fun ever.” Ross is Ricki’s third husband, after two previous marriages to designer Christian Evans and illustrator Rob Sussman.

Ricki was first married to Rob, with whom she shares her two adult children, Milo and Owen. The couple split in 2004, and Ricki married Chris eight years later until their divorce in 2015. Speaking of tubs, Ricki announced her marriage to Ross in 2021 by sharing their jacuzzi time. “I was naked in the jacuzzi with my man on the first night that we’re in my new Malibu home. And so it was romantic and very spontaneous, and I couldn’t be happier,” she said on Watch What Happens Live.
Ricki’s journey to Self-acceptance
The former TV host has been on a self-love journey, especially after revealing her hair loss problem in 2020—a medical condition she has been battling for over thirty years. Ricki decided to address the issue once and for all by going on low-cut hair.
“It has been debilitating, embarrassing, painful, scary, depressing, lonely, all the things. There have been a few times where I have even felt suicidal over it,” Ricki captioned the post showing off her new look.
