‘Today’ Host Savannah Guthrie Shows Off ‘Edgy’ New Haircut And Tattoo

For Savannah Guthrie, getting a new haircut every year is a tradition she abides by with beautiful results. In January 2022, Savannah shared a selfie of her then-new look on Instagram with the caption, “chopped.” She kept her hair color but cut it shorter for a fresh look.

Recently, Savannah did it again but with a little more drama this time. The NBC personality shared her new haircut and the styling process from start to finish. Today hairstylist Kelly O’Neill chopped off Savannah’s long blonde hair, and they both posed for a selfie after.

Savannah also got a tattoo

Just before Savannah’s new hairdo, she showed off her new tattoo during an interview with Drew Barrymore. The TV personality flaunted her new ink while explaining the reason behind it to fans. “This is an exact carbon copy of my father’s handwriting, ‘all my love,’ he wrote a love letter to my mom and this is his writing,” Savannah said, explaining the meaning behind the tattoo across her wrist.

“And so, That’s the first time in my life, I’m 51 years old, that I’ve had a tattoo, that I ever wanted a tattoo… And it’s not only his writing, so he’s with me, but I’m trying to make it my mantra for life,” Savannah added. The Australia-born show host lost her father from a heart attack in 1988 when she was only 16 years old. Savannah kept his memory alive by naming her son, whom she shares with her husband, Mike Feldman, after her late father, Charles.

During a segment with Hoda Kotb, Savannah realized she had shown everyone else the tattoo except her mom. The legal analyst turned to the camera and said, “I actually haven’t told my mom; mom I got a tattoo.”

After hairstylist Kelly was done giving Savannah the new do, they both took a selfie which Savannah posted to her Instagram story with the caption, “Thanks @kellymarieoneill.”

On Charleycam

The mother of two posted a blurry candid on her story, apparently taken by her son Charley. Savannah was laughing in the photo while lying on the bed in a top and jeans.

New Ink

Savannah showed off her new tattoo on her Instagram, putting both arms side by side to show off the old one and the new ink that says, “All my love.” She also shared another photo of her tattooed arm with Drew Barrymore in the shot, pointing to her pal’s freshly inked wrist.
