Priscilla Presley shared an update after her daughter Lisa Marie Presley‘s public memorial. Lisa Marie died this month at the age of 54 after experiencing cardiac arrest. After an autopsy, her cause of death has been deferred. The cause of death was not determined by the autopsy and is currently being investigated to gather more information about how Lisa Marie died.
Priscilla wrote on Twitter just days after the memorial, “Thank you all for your condolences, you have touched me with your words. It has been a very difficult time but just knowing your love is out there makes a difference.”
Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital after an ambulance arrived at her home. They received a “not breathing call” from her home in Calabasas. Unfortunately, she passed away in the hospital. When the news broke that she had died, Priscilla’s rep shared a statement that read, “Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”
Lisa Marie is survived by her mother, Priscilla, and daughters Riley, Harper Vivienne, and Finley. The daughters are now the owners of Graceland, Elvis Presley’s former home turned museum.
Lisa Marie now joins her father, Elvis, and her son, Benjamin in death and will be laid to rest beside them at Graceland.
