Christina Applegate Laughs Off Plastic Surgery Rumors

Christina Applegate is laughing off rumors. She recently attended the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday and it marked her first award show since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). After the event, she tweeted that she made the mistake of looking at comments from an article about her attending the event.

Christina wrote, “Sooooo I made the unfortunate decision to look at some comments on an article from people mag about me and my kids at the CCA.Of course I told her that it wasn’t nice. This was her reply.What is wrong with people. By the way, I laughed.” She also attached the comments she read.

Other people told her to never read the comments while others shared how great she looked at the Critics Choice Awards. While the 51-year-old skipped the red carpet, she was seen inside with her 11-year-old daughter. She had to walk with a cane but otherwise seemed in good spirits.

Christina was nominated for best actress in a comedy series for her Netflix series Dead to Me. While she didn’t win, she did look fabulous as she accessorized her nails to pay homage to the show. Her dark nails had “Jen” and “Judy” painted on them in honor of her character and her co-star Linda Cardelinni’s character.

Christina was diagnosed with MS in 2021 and had to take a break from filming for a while. However, she did return to finish the series but said that it was very difficult at times. She shared, “It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a–hole blocks it.”
