Joan Collins and Jaclyn Smith recently posed for a photo together while attending a Christmas party. Collins shared the photo to her Instagram account with the caption, “A fabulous Christmas party 🎄🥂🍾🍸 @mark_zunino & @rene_horsch with the beautiful @realjaclynsmith … TV leading ladies of the 80’s!”
Both women were incredibly successful in their careers. Most notably, Collins starred as Alexis Colby, ex-wife to John Forsythe’s Blake Carrington in Dynasty, and Smith was known for her role in Charlie’s Angels.
Although her role in Dynasty is what led to her breakthrough success, Collins has openly spoken about the chaos that ensued on set. Back in 2021, Collins talked to Piers Morgan about her real thoughts concerning Forsythe, calling him a “misogynistic p—-.”
As for Smith, she starred in her ’80s show alongside the late Farrah Fawcett and Kate Jackson. It seems she had a better experience on her show compared to Collins, and often talks about the lasting friendships she made on set.
According to a Fox News photo, the 89-year-old and 77-year-old have posed together in photos before and have similar social circles, so this recent Instagram picture is nothing new for the two ladies. Good to see them together!
