Ray Liotta’s Fiancée Shares Heartfelt Tribute On His Heavenly Birthday

The fiancée of Ray Liotta, Jacy Nittolo, took to Instagram to celebrate the late star. Liotta died on May 26 while filming in the Dominican Republic. He would have turned 68 this December 18. In tribute, Jacy shared a post dedicated to his memory and legacy.

Liotta had previously been married for seven years to Michelle Grace. Jacy and Liotta got engaged back in December of 2020. The two shared what Jacy calls “a deep love that I will cherish in my heart forever” and she said the two “laughed daily and we were inseparable.” See her touching birthday tribute here.

On what would have been Liotta’s 68th birthday, Jacy took to Instagram to share a slideshow of footage from the couple’s life together. “The goal isn’t to live forever,” she says, quoting Chuck Palahniuk, “the goal is to create something that will.” The slideshow offers a timeline of moments from Liotta’s life, from candid family shots to romantic black-and-white photos.

Her caption continues, “Today Ray would have been 68. I believe he created a lot for everyone that will live on forever, especially in the hearts of Ray’s sister Linda, his daughter Karsen and myself. Today we celebrate you.”

A special kind of romance

“My life these past couple of years have been nothing but truly magical,” Jacy said of her love story with Liotta after the Sopranos actor died. On the outside, these two were not likely candidates to match up, with Liotta an actor in his sixties and she in her forties; they also had children from previous relationships to factor into any they wanted to pursue together. Her having a ten-year-old was especially a “buzzkill” for Liotta at first, but he deemed this particular kid “cool.”

“He was everything in the world to me and we couldn’t get enough of each other,” Jacy said. “The kind of real love that one dreams of. He was the most beautiful person inside and out that I’ve ever known … and even that is an understatement.”

Liotta has several final projects that will release posthumously, including Cocaine Bear, The Substance, and Dangerous Waters.
