Actor Pierce Brosnan took to social media to celebrate his wife’s birthday. Keely Shaye Brosnan turned 59 this year and Pierce celebrated by sharing a sweet message and a photo from a tropical vacation.
The couple has been married for over 20 years and has two sons together, Dylan, 25, and Paris, 21. Alongside the beautiful photo, he wrote, “Happy Birthday my darling @KeelyShayeBrosnan. I love you dearly. So many years of love, life, work and play. Onwards we go!”
Pierce previously opened up about their secrets to a happy and long marriage, especially in Hollywood. He said that quality time is the most important thing to them. Pierce explained, “My wife and I took a short road trip up to Santa Barbara — we were going for a romantic weekend and to look at houses and drink great wine. We didn’t listen to any music, but we just listened to the sounds of each other’s voices and sorted out the world.”
He’s also shared what he loves most about his wife. Pierce shared, “I love her vitality, her passion. She has this strength that I wouldn’t be able to live without. When Keely looks at me, I go weak.”
He always makes sure to celebrate her birthday and anniversaries and posts a special message to her on those days. Last year on her birthday, he shared a photo of Keely in a bathing suit and wrote, “My beautiful luscious love Keely on her 58th trip around the sun yesterday. Apres swim, making coconut water.💥❤️💥❤️💥 Happiest of birthdays it was!”
