Pamela Anderson starred as Lisa on Home Improvement for the first two seasons. While she came back for a cameo in season six to wrap things up for her character, many fans wondered why she left the show in the first place. Turns out, she got an even bigger gig!
On Home Improvement, Tim Allen’s character Tim Taylor has the fictional show Tool Time with his friend Al (Richard Karn). Pamela’s Lisa is the Tool Time Girl who helps Tim and Al out and provides some eye candy for viewers. After season two, Pamela decided to leave the sitcom after being offered a main role in the show Baywatch.
She emerged as C.J. Parker in the third season of the steamy series. At first, she reportedly tried to film both shows but it proved to be too much. She chose to focus on Baywatch and it paid off as it is one of her most memorable roles. She was replaced by Debbe Dunning on Home Improvement, who played the new Tool Time Girl named Heidi.
During the sixth season of Home Improvement, Pamela made a guest appearance and shared what Lisa had been up to. Lisa got her medical qualifications and left Tool Time to pursue a career in medicine. She worked at Detroit Memorial Hospital.
