WWE Legend Scott Hall Dies At Age 63

It has been reported that Scott Hall has died. The WWE Hall of Famer was 63 when he passed, reportedly from a medical emergency that put him on life support this week. The official Twitter page of WWE shared the news in a post that went live at 8 pm.

“WWE is saddened to learn that two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has passed away,” the post reads. “WWE extends its condolences to Hall’s family, friends and fans.” Hall, who also worked under the name Razor Ramon, is considered one of the most influential athletes in professional wrestling history.

It has been reported that Hall broke his hip earlier in March and the injury required surgery. However, complications leading to blood clots saw Hall suffering from three heart attacks. This weekend, he was placed on life support in Marietta, Georgia. Hall’s longtime friend and former tag-team partner Kevin Nash kept fans updated on Instagram over the weekend. He shared a photo and the news that “Scott’s on life support. Once his family is in place they will discontinue life support.” Faced with this impending loss, Nash added, “I love Scott with all my heart but now I have to prepare my life without him in the present.”

As a result, sadly, his passing was not totally unexpected. At 8:06, another friend of Hall’s, Sean Waltman, announced, “He’s gone.” Social media is already flooded with posts mourning his passing, with colleagues and fans alike sharing memories of Hall and sending condolences to his family.

Good memories of The Bad Guy

Hall was nicknamed The Bad Guy and played up to the image of a newcomer arriving in time to stir the pot, forming the Outsiders, joined by Nash as well as Hulk Hogan as the New World Order (nWo). In addition to successfully playing to the fanfare and pageantry of professional wrestling, Hall also accumulated several championship wins under his belt.

Hall was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame first as Razor Ramon in 2014, then again in 2021 as part of the nWo. “Hard work pays off,” Hall said in his famous induction speech. “Dreams come true. Bad times don’t last, but bad guys do.” Rest in peace, Scott Hall.
