Singer Celine Dion has sadly canceled the rest of her world tour. She had 16 shows left of her Courage World Tour. Celine confirmed that the tour was finished because she was dealing with some health issues including “severe and persistent muscle spasms,” that would not let her perform to her best abilities.
She had previously postponed the tour due to these issues and the coronavirus pandemic. Her doctors are still recommending that Celine rest and she said she must listen to them. Celine issued a heartfelt statement to fans with the news.
She wrote, “I was really hoping that I’d be good to go by now, but I suppose I just have to be more patient and follow the regimen that my doctors are prescribing. There’s a lot of organizing and preparation that goes into our shows, and so we have to make decisions today which will affect the plans two months down the road. I’ll be so glad to get back to full health, as well as all of us getting past this pandemic, and I can’t wait to be back on stage again.”
She added, “Meanwhile, I’ve been very touched by all the words of encouragement that everyone’s been sending to me on social media. I feel your love and support and it means the world to me.”
Celine is one of the best-selling singers of all time. Hopefully, she can get back in better health and be able to tour once again very soon! Wishing her all the best.
