Kathie Lee Gifford Discusses Cancel Culture And Late Husband’s Infidelity In New Book

Kathie Lee Gifford wrote a new book called “The Jesus I Know.” The book shares many conversations she has had over the years about God and Jesus. It features celebrities such as Kris Jenner and Vicki Gifford Kennedy. Kathie Lee hopes that the book can help people learn the power of forgiveness and it can help stop cancel culture, which has popped up in recent years.

Kathie Lee shared, “I wanted to talk to people who were very different from me, but who were willing to share what they think about Jesus and what faith means to them. It’s uplifting. And I think it’s a good time, especially because of the cancel culture we live in. It’s a cancer. It’s evil and it’s not something Jesus would ever do. Jesus would never cancel someone. I certainly don’t want to be that person who cancels someone because they don’t look like me or believe in the same things that I do. We shouldn’t dismiss someone and treat them as if they have no value.”

Even though Kathie Lee calls herself a faithful believer, it hasn’t always been easy. When asked about a time when she questioned her faith, she opened up about her late husband’s infidelity. She was married to Frank Gifford for many years until his death in 2015.

She said that it was a tough time but ultimately she forgave him. Kathie Lee said, “Of course… when my husband was unfaithful to me, it pretty much almost destroyed me. I still hear from people who tell me, ‘You went through that and I too, could find God’s grace in the midst of that.'”
