Actress Candace Cameron Bure has confirmed that her 21-year-old son Lev has called off his engagement to Taylor Hutchinson. “Sorry, you didn’t get the memo? We didn’t make an announcement, but yeah, he’s no longer getting married,” the actress tells US Weekly. She says that her son is “doing great” and that “nobody’s heartbroken” because it was a mutual decision.
Lev proposed to Hutchinson in Napa, CA last August. They originally announced the news via Instagram. “All glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I cannot wait to be your husband! š,” Lev captioned the post.

Candace also shares daughter Natasha, 22, and Maksim, 19, with husband Valeri Bure. She recently opened up about being an empty nester. “It’s crazy, I don’t have any kids at home anymore. It went so fast,” she said to Good Morning America last January. “Everyone says that, but when you’re in the position you realize how fast it goes.”

Her husband, however, had a much different perspective on being an empty nester. “He was like, ‘I finally have time to do everything I wanna do,'” she recalls. She also got candid about how she and her husband have made their marriage work over the years. “I’ve been married for 24 years. I’m a Christian, my husband’s a Christian and I’m really proud that we’ve managed to stay married for 24 years,” she says. “And the fact that we have fun and we flirt together, this is part of what makes our marriage work. This is something to be celebrated as a Christian.”
