See Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, & Willie Nelson Perform _Lean On Me_ Together

This entire week, we’re getting quite a treat in honoring Kenny Rogers’ incredible life and career. For those who have access to AXS TV, they will be honoring the artists’ life while also raising money for COVID-19 relief. The tribute began on Monday, April 6th, with some of music’s most influential artists: Kenny, Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson. These performances were part of the original 1989 NBC special.

Throughout the show, the artists would take turns singing each other biggest hits such as “The Gambler”, “Two Doors Down”, and “Mammas, Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys”. In addition, Kenny explains his inspiration behind his 1977 hit “Sweet Music Man” before Willie decided to try his hand at the tune.
