Cher Checks Up On Chip And Joanna Gaines To Get Life Updates On Them

Recently, it’s been revealed that Cher likes to check up on Chip and Joanna Gaines and see how the family is doing! Referring to the singer as ‘Auntie Cher’, Chip sees tweets from her online and kindly responds for everyone to see. It’s pretty adorable!

“Once in a while I like to check in, & see what’s happening With Chip, Joanna & Kids,” Cher’s tweet to Chip says. He responds with a sweet, “Well Auntie Cher.. Kids are doing great! A little cold going around, but you know how it is. Send everyone our love! – the Gaines clan”. The gang is combined of Chip and Joanna, and their children, sons Crew, 8 months, Duke, 9½, and Drake, 13, and daughters Emmie Kay, 8½, and Ella Rose, 12.

Cher has recently talked about her on-stage persona in comparison to her private life. She explains that, “It’s not a difference in exactly who I am, but it’s a heightened reality. You know, you can’t go around being glamorous Cher all the time… I go around just in my sweatpants. I don’t go around in makeup, I have my hair in a ponytail — I like my off time. I like not being glamorous. I like just being grubby,” she says.

She probably finds a lot of joy and similarities in the Waco, TX family who also likes to enjoy their private time chilling out with family.

Recently, Chip and Joanna took to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to formally announce that they are making a comeback to television with their own television network in collaboration with Discovery, which owns HGTV. This means Cher, and the rest of us curious Gaines fans, won’t need to wait for Chip’s occasional Twitter updates anymore!

“I just wanted to make a quick announcement. We are coming back to television,” Chip confirmed Jimmy Fallon and the rest of the studio audience, “You are going to get to see the kids grow up, you are going to see us, well maybe a six-month delay like the rest of the world, but we are excited to be back.”

There is no timeline for their new television network release, but all we can say is we’re definitely excited to be let in on the lives of Chip and Joanna Gaines (and family) once more! We miss the Fixer Upper days, what can we say?
