In a recent interview, celebrity chef and hospitality guru Martha Stewart told Page Six that she would rather wear swimsuits than underwear. The eighty-two-year-old posed for Sports Illustrated last year and set the record as their oldest cover model yet. “I would have preferred if I could have worn a really skimpy bikini, but at my age, wearing what I was wearing was appropriate,” she said at the time. Martha does not pass up an opportunity to get in a pool, so she always has a fitting piece under her outfit. “I like bathing suits. I like wearing bathing suits under my clothes just in case I want to go swimming. Bathing suits are my underwear,” she explained.
