The Flintstones ended back in 1966, but fans will soon get to return to the Stone Age in a modern time thanks to Bedrock, an upcoming adult reboot of the beloved cartoon. Warner Bros. Animation first announced the project back in 2021 and now, the show has much of its cast assembled. Bedrock will find a home with Fox, joining the network's lineup of adult animated programs that includes The Simpsons and Family Guy. As of this spring, Fox has officially ordered a pilot for Bedrock. The series will offer fans of the original series a continuation of the stories of their favorite cartoon characters.
