Ozzy Osbourne speaks in the new documentary The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne\u00a0about how he felt "peaceful" when he tried to kill his wife Sharon in 1989. This took place while the performer was on drugs. Sharon explains how she had just put the kids to bed before sitting down to read when \u201che came into the room,\u201d she says. \u201cI had no idea who was sat across from me on the sofa but it wasn\u2019t my husband. He goes to a stage where he gets that look in his eyes, the shutters were down and I just couldn\u2019t get through to him. And he just said, \u2018We\u2019ve come to a decision that you\u2019ve got to die.\u2019\u201d Ozzy Osbourne tried to kill Sharon She continues on about the ordeal: \u201cHe was calm \u2014 very calm \u2014 then suddenly he lunged across at me and just dived on me and started to choke me. He got me down on the ground on top of me and I was feeling for stuff on the table. I felt the panic button and I just pressed it and the next thing I know, the cops were there.\u201d RELATED: People Are Losing It Over New Photos Of Ozzy Osbourne With Grey Hair Ozzy goes on to say that the moment was "not exactly one of my greatest achievements. I felt the calmest I had ever felt in my life. I was just peaceful. \u2026 All I remember is waking up in Amersham jail and I asked the cop, \u2018Why am I here?\u2019 And he says, \u2018You want me to read your charge?\u2019 So he read, \u2018John Michael Osbourne, you have been arrested for attempted murder.\u2019\u201d She obviously ended up staying with him Ozzy was ultimately sentenced to six months in medical detention. Sharon was left to contemplate her future with Ozzy and decided not to divorce him. \u201cI told him, \u2018I don\u2019t want the money\u2026 but if you do this again, either I am going to kill you or you are going to kill me.
