Valerie Bertinelli got fans talking after posting a mirror selfie to her Instagram, showing a fresh injury on her arm. The wound was still red and ran across her wrist towards her elbow; however, Valerie seemed to make light of the matter as she showed it off with a cheeky smile.
The 64-year-old wore a white statement T-shirt that read, “more hope, more kindness,” and seemed worked up as her hair looked unkempt. She teased the fun new project she has been working on via the caption, promising to give more details later.

Valerie’s caption gave her followers an idea of what happened, as she recalled tripping over the corner of a stage and falling butt down in front of the crew and audience. “I would ask for hazard pay, but it was my own damn fault… When you’re me. Because I’m a klutz. And embarrassing myself is my bailiwick,” she joked.
Fans took to the comments with kind words, asking Valerie not to feel embarrassed because accidents happen. “Hey, we all do it one time or another…thank God you didn’t break anything,” someone said, while another advised her to put some aloe vera on the injury for healing and then coconut oil to treat scarring.
What is Valerie Bertinelli up to?
While fans remain curious about the ongoing project in question, Valerie has experienced some career highlights lately, despite getting fired from Food Network’s Kids Baking Championship earlier in the year. She recently joined The Drew Barrymore Show as a regular lifestyle expert, which requires her to make frequent trips to New York.
Valerie’s love life also seems to be picking up as she attended this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony with her beau, Mike Goodnough. The two-time Golden Globe winner received another Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Culinary Host; however, she lost to Buddy Valastro of Legends of the Fork.
