John Schneider married his new lover Dee Dee Sorvino in Las Vegas just a little over a year after losing his former wife Alicia Allain to breast cancer. Sorvino also lost her husband, Paul Sorvino, in 2022, leaving her and John in a similar situation when they met.
The duo are happy to have found each other but recently admitted to feeling guilty for how quickly they moved on from their previous marriages. The both bonded over a shared sense of loss and realized newfound happiness in one another along the way.
Finding love again
For John, Alicia was the end of the road romantically, as he could hardly imagine life with anyone else until he met Sorvino. He admitted that the loss he feels from Alicia’s passing has yet to go away, and he is learning to live with it.

Sorvino, on the other hand, handled her grief more stiffly, holding back her emotions and pretending to be tough. John claims meeting her was “pure magic” because she became vulnerable and let out her feelings while they bonded. Thankfully, the laughter they both shared overpowered whatever judgment they had of their blossoming romance.
Getting hitched again was not on John and Sorvino’s bingo card, with the latter looking to throw herself into work and remain single. As fate would have it, the duo found themselves exchanging vows two weeks ago at the back of a white convertible owned by the famous R ‘n’ B singer Usher.
While discussing on Grace Begins, The Podcast, John noted that Sorvino was godsend because he was at the verge of giving up if not for her. Sorvino does not have kids from her previous relationships, however John had one biological daughter from his marriage to Alicia.
