It was a pleasant weekend for Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz’s children, Lucie and Desi Jr., as they caught up over a family dinner in Las Vegas for STLV: The 58-year Mission. The aging duo looked happy to see one another as Lucie lovingly embraced her 71-year-old younger brother in one of the snaps.
They were joined by other friends including Clint Holmes and his wife Kelly, and Maximillian Von Anhalt and Sunny Sessa. Fans were delighted to see the siblings together, as they mostly kept away from the public eye over the years.
Fan reactions pour in as Lucie and Desi Jr. meet up
Lucie’s presence in the establishment was thanks to EDC’s mega-producer, Nick Luckinbill, who invited her and Desi as special guests. “Desi is alive and well my friends— just likes to stay a bit “undercover,” Lucie explained, adding that they came down to Las Vegas for the 35th Anniversary of Star Trek V at the Treksperts.

Fans took to the comments in no time, gushing about how great they looked together. “Lucie is so cute and Desi has those oh-so-so-familiar cute ‘Desi eyes,’” someone noted. “Wonderful to see the two of you together. Lucie, you look lovelier than ever,” another added.
Lucie and Desi reflect on their parents’ marriage
While discussing their parents, Lucille and Desi, in a previous interview with People, the duo noted that they loved each other until death despite divorcing in the ‘60s. Lucy could no longer stand Desi’s alcoholism and womanizing, hence her reason.
Lucie and Desi have their parents to thank for fostering a good relationship between them, even after separating. They remained good friends and were reportedly closer as friends than a married couple. Desi died from lung cancer in 1986, with his ex-wife on the phone telling him she loved him in his final hours.
