Cher shared some images from her shoot for Paper magazine on her Instagram last Thursday. She looked fabulous and ageless in a Versace catsuit and matching Bottega Veneta boots as she struck a pose in front of an eye-catching backdrop.
Her usual rich dark hair was now platinum blond and styled into a bouffant, while she topped off the sparkly look with some face gems. Fans and friends, including Donatella Versace, who called her “absolutely iconic,” gushed over her look in the comments.

A fan wrote that the “breathtaking” picture could pass for an album cover, with another adding, “As fierce as ever, babe.” Speaking of albums, the “Believe” singer is set to release her first-ever holiday album titled Christmas and she gave some details in the magazine’s cover story.

Cher also admitted it took her a while to make festive music because she could not “figure out a way to do one. I couldn’t feel the way to make a Christmas album come from me, and then Sarah gave me ‘DJ’ and I thought, ‘Okay, I could do this.’” A few weeks ago, she released the album cover on social media featuring her in jeans, a white shirt, and silver block shoes. “Christmas already? But I’ve got nothing to wear,” she captioned the post.
Cher admits she is not her own fan
Millions of people love and listen to Cher, but the iconic musician is not a fan of her own voice or music. “I just never liked my voice that much,” she confessed. “If I had my choice, I probably would have another one, but I didn’t get my choice. I got my mother’s voice.” The singer explained that she neither sounds like a man nor a woman, “I’m somewhere more in between.”
“I never liked it very much. I mean, people seem to like it and I’m happy as a clam, but I wouldn’t have picked it,” she elaborated. Although she recently went to see Usher, Cher does not prefer modern-day pop even though her young lover tries to introduce her to new-age music. “There are things that I really like, but I don’t listen to the radio anymore,” Cher explained.
