Hollywood Golden Age actress Angie Dickinson turned 92 on the last day of September, looking splendid as ever. Earlier this year, she spoke at the 2023 TCM Classic Film Festival in celebration of her role in Rio Bravo, which premiered with a fresh Film Foundation restoration.
She looked gorgeous in a black-on-black outfit, with a gray blazer over it, and fans complimented her in the comments section of the event’s clip on YouTube. “Lady’s in her 90’s– amazing energy and clarity,” someone wrote. “That ornery twinkle is still there in her eyes,” another added.
Angie spoke about her love for Frank Sinatra
At the festival, Angie amused the audience when she recalled some details of her relationship with iconic singer Frank Sinatra, calling him the “love of her life,” and admitting to playing his music all day long. Angie also recounted how they almost got married in the ‘60s — if not for Sinatra’s late-night lifestyle. “You know, I’m not going to marry an actress,” he told her at the time, to which she replied, “Well, I don’t blame you. I wouldn’t wish that on anybody.”

Angie is one to connect with her fans on and off screen, as she had them laughing with her tales. “It is just great to see Angie Dickinson looking so lovely and happy,” a fan wrote. “I thought she was a wonderful actor, but she was also always a terrific guest on talk shows, too. Love her!”
How she stays youthful at her age
Angie claims her simple secret to maintaining youthfulness in her 90s is balance: she is primarily a vegetarian, but nonetheless indulges in some country-fried chicken. She also makes sure to get a good night’s rest and enjoys hobbies such as gardening and watching the sunset.
She also recommends kindness and an easier way of life to stay young and fit. “I stay out of trouble… I’ve learned to be kind when I want to swear like hell. And I’ve learned to just stop talking when I’ve said enough,” she told Closer Weekly some months back.
