  • 1984 – “Time After Time” from newcomer Cyndi Lauper distanced itself on the Adult Contemporary chart, reaching the #1 position

  • 1984 – Aerosmith played at the Capitol Theater in Concord, New Hampshire, the first night on their 59 date North American Back In The Saddle Tour.
  • 1987 – Whitney Houston released her follow-up album Whitney on Arista Records
  • 1990 – “Do You Remember” by Phil Collins moved into the #1 slot on the Adult Contemporary chart.
  • 2000 – The RIAA certified Garth Brooks’ “Double Live” at the 13 million level. This matched the highest-certified live album record held by Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band’s “Live 1975-1985.”
