  • 1965 – “Crying In The Chapel” was a huge hit for Elvis Presley on the Adult chart.

  • 1966 – Bruce Springsteen and his first band, the Castilles, recorded their first and only record, “That’s What You Get” backed with “Baby I.” It was never released.
  • 1968 – Gary Puckett and the Union Gap were at No.1 on the UK singles chart with ‘Young Girl.’ The song which was about under-age sex, was the acts only UK No.1.
