Sea Monkeys: Pet or Toy?

Sea monkeys were magical for me as a child. They combined the joy of owning pets with the mystery of growing something (well, technically hatching in this case) yourself. Now, I never did have the joy of personally ordering them from a comic book. Instead, an older cousin purchased them for me as a gift and I became instantly smitten with the idea of magically growing this little colony of tiny sea creatures.
