Lori Loughlin is back on Instagram, and she chose a familiar group of faces to help mark the occasion. The 62-year-old actress returned to the platform on Aug. 31 with a playful video featuring several of her former “Full House” co-stars.
According to USA TODAY, Lori Loughlin had her Instagram comeback include Dave Coulier, Andrea Barber, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, John Stamos, and Scott Weinger, along with archival footage of the late Bob Saget. For longtime fans, the reunion leaned heavily into nostalgia and one of Aunt Becky’s most memorable connections to the classic sitcom.

The video opened with the stars appearing from separate locations and taking turns saying, “Wake up, San Francisco!” The phrase immediately brought viewers back to the fictional morning show hosted by Loughlin’s Rebecca Donaldson and Saget’s Danny Tanner on “Full House.”

Loughlin then mouthed along to an old audio clip of Rebecca welcoming herself back to the show, giving the moment an extra wink at her return to social media. She captioned the post by announcing that she was back on Instagram. Kelly Rizzo, Saget’s widow, also welcomed her back in the comments with an enthusiastic message of support. The post currently stands as the only upload on Loughlin’s revived account. She previously deleted her social media profiles in 2019 after authorities charged her in the college admissions scandal.
Aunt Becky Remains Closely Tied to Her Television Family

Loughlin pleaded guilty in 2020 to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud after prosecutors said she and then-husband Mossimo Giannulli paid $500,000 to secure their daughters’ admission to the University of Southern California as crew recruits. Loughlin served two months in prison and was released in December 2020. Since then, she has gradually returned to acting. She reprised her role from “When Calls the Heart” in the spinoff “When Hope Calls,” appeared in “On Call,” and played a version of herself in a 2024 episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” She is also set to appear in the Hallmark movie “Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage.”

Her bond with the “Full House” cast has remained strong, with Stamos publicly supporting his longtime costar and other cast members reuniting over the years. That made Lori Loughlin’s Instagram return feel especially nostalgic, using her TV family and the familiar “Wake Up, San Francisco” callback to mark another step back into public life.
