The television crossover quickly caught the attention of fans online, especially after Jennings openly praised the legendary cohost. For viewers who grew up watching both game shows side by side, the exchange felt like a nostalgic reminder of how connected the two programs have become over the decades.

According to TV Insider, Jennings posted a photo to Instagram on May 17 while standing beside an oversized Wheel of Fortune wedge backstage at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles. The giant display featured the famous $3,500 wedge from the long-running game show. In the caption, Jennings joked about the attraction, telling fans not to miss the chance to take a picture with “the world’s largest $3,500 Wheel of Fortune space.” The image immediately sparked reactions from longtime viewers of both Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune.
Fans soon filled the comments with playful observations and praise for the game show legends. One commenter specifically mentioned Vanna White’s remarkable 43-year run on Wheel of Fortune, noting how generations of viewers have grown up watching her on television. Jennings responded warmly, calling White “the absolute best.” His comment quickly became one of the most talked-about moments from the post, especially among fans who admire the longtime television personality’s enduring popularity and reputation for kindness.
Vanna White Still Impresses Fans And Colleagues
The admiration did not stop there. Jennings previously spoke about White during an interview in 2025, explaining that she often visits Jeopardy! set because they share the same hairstylist. He described her as sweet, genuine, and unchanged despite decades of television fame. That kind of praise reflects the respect White continues to receive throughout the entertainment industry. Since joining Wheel of Fortune in 1982, she has become one of the most recognizable faces in television history. Her calm presence and signature style helped make the game show a nightly tradition for millions of households.
The backstage moment also highlighted the close relationship between Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. Though fans sometimes compare the two syndicated game shows, the hosts clearly share mutual admiration rather than rivalry. For longtime viewers, seeing Jennings celebrate Vanna White offered another reminder of the lasting charm behind two of television’s most beloved programs.
